OUTDOOR SEASON START TIMES

Outdoor season starts May 9, see the calendar below for race dates.

Friday Night Dirt Oval Racing:

○ Gates open by 4:30PM for practice

○ Signups close at 6:30PM

○ Drivers meeting at 6:45PM

○ Racing begins at 7:00PM

Saturday Offroad Racing

○ Gates open by 8:00AM for track prep

○ Signups close at 10am

○ Practice 9-11am

○ Racing begins at 11:00AM

What you need to bring to race outdoors:

○ Pop-up shelter, table, chair, extension cord and power strip (light if racing on Fridays)

○ Food, beverages, bug spray, and pack out your own trash.

○ We take cash or credit/debit for entry fees.

○ Power is provided but you need to have everything else you need to be happy/comfortable.

○ There is a porta-potty on site and a public restroom within walking distance.

○ Camping is not available for normal club racing.

○ There is no public WIFI, cell reception is good.

○ You must provide your own transponder, we do not have rental or loaners.

How to get there:

○ 1740 E Whitmarsh Rd, Burlington, WA 98233

○ Enter at the Horsehoe Pits / Public Restroom and drive around back.

○ Do not enter at the house/private property.

○ Park in the grass adjacent to the track, ask someone about pitting if you’re new!

o   $20.00 for first class

Seniors – 60 and better

(must have active membership)

Novice

Membership

Memberships are:

$35 Individual

$50 Families (same household)

The benefits of having a membership are reduced entry fees, member only events, and free practice.

Memberships are meant for active racers taking part in series racing and other club related events.

Club Business

Pet Policy

All tracks are dog friendly, however only if your dog is also friendly.  Dogs must be in the owner’s control at all times. 

·  Do not let your dog run free – leashes are required, especially if you leave your pit area to race.

·  You must pick up your dog’s waste and dispose of it responsibly, keeping in mind that you are packing out your own garbage. 

·  All venues are close to great dog walking areas.  If you decide to bring your dog, remember to allow time during the race event to give them a break and stretch their legs. 

·  You are responsible for making sure your dog can tolerate the sometimes-loud noises of gas-powered RC cars and passing freight trains at the outdoor dirt tracks.

·  You are responsible for keeping your dog comfortable. Dogs cannot be locked in vehicles on hot days, tied up in the sun without supervision.

·  Lastly, don’t forget a good size water bowl for your dog and snacks.  It’s a long day for them too and being out in the elements requires hydration and sustenance.
